HELLO, I'm david
I am a photographer, entrepreneur, artist, husband, farmer and a good friend! I grew up in Minnesota and currently live in Denver, Colorado with my husband Eddy on our hobby farm, Half Acre Farm. I was a Division One gymnast at the University of New Mexico, where I also received a BFA in photography. After opening my first photography studio in 2005, I've launched a variety of photography brands along with a custom frame shop that is owned and operated by my husband, Eddy. We also recently opened our second Airbnb in Tucson. Interior design is my passion, photography is my career and our farm and animals are my therapy!

Our Hip Happy Studios is a collaboration of artists that specialize in portrait photography, design and custom framing. We are Denver's one-stop-shop for everything from family photography, school pictures, corporate branding photography to custom framing. We are kid wranglers, artists, therapists, giggle experts, style mavens, interior design consultants, baby whisperers, yearbook editors, framing specialists, art installers and simply - GOOD FRIENDS

Located in the Highlands neighborhood of North Denver. Our Denver North Side location serves as an entrance to the neighborhoods of Sloan's Lake, West Highland, Berkeley, Regis, Chaffee Park, Sunnyside, Globeville, Highland, and Jefferson Park. Located at the intersection of West 32nd Ave and North Speer Blvd, our location offers our clients easy access off of I-25 no matter where they are coming from.

Photography sessions with me start at $679 for one person. Each additional person added to a photoshoot has a fee of $75/person. Digital files that are printable up to 8x10, or smaller, are included in all of my photoshoots. Travel fees may apply.
